Online MOOC reactions:

There's something to be said for the act of dragging yourself outside of your routine (getting yourself to a classroom, for example) and into a structured environment with other students focused on similar goals.

They are incredibly boring and to think a student could sit in an environment other than a classroom and pay attention is absurd.

1. The students have to be entirely self-motivated.
2. Even though courses are convenient, it is too easy to become distracted.
3. Online learning is a fantastic remedial learning tool for many areas of learning.
4.In some areas of learning, online can be better than traditional classroom learning.
5. In many areas of learning, there is no substitute for live in-person interaction.
